Jordan and Chris Subiaco Prom 2014

      I had the great pleasure to photograph Jordan and Chris before they headed off to Mount Magazine Lodge for the Prom activities! Any shoot with Jordan in it is pretty special! I have always loved her and her sweet family!! They are one of the kindest, sweetest families! Plus my lovely husband, and partner, is a Subiaco Alumn! So I had my share of Subi Proms! They were always the best!  So needless to say this shoot made me very happy, and anxious all week!
      Any who! I have always loved The Subiaco Abbey! So peaceful there! If you haven't gone to view it, you definitely should! I had my Bridals done there and they were exquisite! So I was excited to take their prom photos there! Here are just a few from the East Park Court, there was a beautiful blossoming tree there! Perfect scene for a photo of Jordan!

      Next we recreated a pose I took of my husband and I on Valentines Day! Dana (Jordans mom) loved that photo, so we decided to recreate it! I am so glad we did because they perfected the pose!!! 

       Aren't they just the Cutest? I just love this photo! We changed it a little from how my husband and I posed this same pose before! I think it looks 100 times better!! Here is the original for those of you wondering how Allen and I posed! 

Jordan and Chris' is much more formal, which is fitting for prom! Here are just a couple of my favorites from the entire shoot!

The Charleston Dog Shelter

   I have recently started working as The Charleston Dog Shelter's Photographer. I take photos of each new arrival so that the dog shelter can spread the photos of the dogs in need of homes. I took photos of six dogs this past weekend that really need homes.

Caesar is a male pup, and he's always excited and happy! 

Charlotte is a female, and she is so sweet, and she loves to cuddle and play! 

Ringo is a male, he is so sweet, playful, happy, excited, and loves running and walking! 

Shaina is a female, she is so silly and fun, plus she loves walking and playing! 

Sherman is a sweet lab, he is definitely loves cuddling, walking, and just going with the flow! 

Talullah is a female long-timer of the shelters and I just don't understand why? She is so sweet and loving girl! She loves to crawl around on the ground, play with toys, very interactive dog! 

All of these precious pup's would make a great family pet, or your best friend!

Danielle and Evan - One Year Anniversary

I was so happy to do my cousin Danielle and her husband Evan's one year anniversary photos! Boy were they cute! They love the movie UP! so we did an UP! They brought their own adventure book, and UP! themed cake!! So cute!!!

The sun wasn't exactly my best friend the day we did these photos but I played with a few shoots and angles to get some unique photos! 

In the middle of the shoot they decided to do some surprise photos! 

And guess what! My awesome cousin is having a baby!!! Congrats Dani and Evan!! I am so happy for you two!

Labertew-Martin Wedding

I was so honored to photograph Dan and Amber Labertew's wedding. It was my first wedding to photograph and I was very nervous, plus this was Allen's first shoot ever! But all in all, I feel we did a good job for our first wedding! 

Dan and Amber's were very sweet and understanding, and both of their families talked to us as if we were family! 

The ceremony was beautiful, and they even included vows to Amber's three, beautiful children. The kiddos were easy to shoot, especially considering this was an early wedding and they were tired. Very well behaved kids!

The Bride and Groom were all smiles, all day. Which made my job easy! They were all so photogenic, and made the photos what they are. The Bride and Groom were so in love, and in the photos you can truly see the love, its amazing! 

I am so happy that my husband and I were given this opportunity! Thank you so much Dan and Amber for this awesome experience! Congratulations!

Raye's Creative Photography Has a Blog!

We are making so many strides in the social media world this week, and we cannot wait to get them all completed! One of those social strides is starting our RCPhotography Blog!! Yay!!
 On Our blog we will post favorites from our sessions, our greatest achievement and opportunities, current specials, and so much more!

My husband (Allen) and I (Raye) are the owners of RCPhotography. I have always loved photography and in the past year I have gotten my Husband into photography as well, and now we are a team not only in life but in business as well!

Allen and I have been together as friends and partners since 2009, and married since 2012. That's 5 years that we've been together, and working with him is just as fun as hanging out together!

We have had so many amazing opportunities in the past year and we cannot wait for the ones ahead that will help us grow!
